Embrace the Chaos

About the artwork

Note from the Artist:

My dearest self, behold this page, adorned with ink's embrace, a vessel for the tempest's tale, a solace in this space. oh, how the days have danced with fire, swirling in their wake, each sunrise heralding a storm, a symphony of ache. no compass to guide my weary heart, no map to light my way, I find myself adrift, lost at sea, within this disarray.

How did it come to be, dear self, this tumult unforeseen? a maelstrom born of circumstance, a world turned unforeseen. in the depths of chaos, I find my voice, unbidden, it sweeps me, leaving no choice. yet within the storm, a flickering flame, chaos reveals truths, shedding the old game. I'll stand strong, transformed, upon life's shore, embracing the unknown, I'll grow and explore.

let the tempest rage, for I'll rise anew, resilience extends, unveiling the truth. In chaos, dreams are born, a wild embrace, a testament to strength, my letter's grace.

About the artwork

This painting shows exactly how the bounds of realities blur and merge into one large tapestry of existence. These bright colors, as different as they might seem, maintain no bounds between themselves, showing how our experiences run freely into one another and our worlds merge together. For me, every time I look at this painting, the harmony of convergence that speaks from these different dimensions reminds me that our perception of reality is not static, but dynamic and changing. This is a piece that challenges me to outreach my understanding and embrace the idea that those boundaries existing between different facets of existence are all not at all fixed, but beautifully fluid.

A Fall from Grace

About the artwork

I looked at you, and the light of idealization blinded me. Your every word, your every movement—Grace Incarnate.

You were perfect, faultless—or so I had convinced myself. The scales veiled my eyes from seeing that which was not true.

Then, one day, the scales fell away. I saw you, unobscured, for who you truly are. Grace revealed as calculated posturing.

My heart broke at that very moment. Shards seemed to cut deep into the illusion I was so desperately building up. I wept for the loss of what I had thought you to be, facing raw, galling reality for who you are.

A fall from grace, painful and complete. Yet in the ache was clarity—clarity born of disillusionment, sharpened by the acid sting of disappointment.
